General Rules & Guidelines:
  • All participants are required to carry their valid college identity cards.
  • Participants must report to the concerned event coordinators upon reaching the campus.
  • Student volunteers will be available with event badges for easy identification.
  • The college will not be responsible for any stolen or damaged personal belongings.

Group Dance Competition
Theme:
  • The theme for the competition is “States of India”.
  • Each team must represent one Indian state or a combination of states through dance, music, costume, and expressions.
  • Performances should reflect the culture, tradition, folk, or classical dance forms of the chosen state(s).

Team Size:

  • Each team must consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 participants.
  • Time Limit:
  • Performance duration is 3.5 to 4 minutes, including entry and exit.
  • Exceeding or falling short of the time limit will result in negative marking.

Dance Forms:

  • Folk, Classical, Semi-Classical, or Fusion dance forms related to Indian states are encouraged.
  • Fusion performances must retain strong cultural relevance.
  • Vulgarity or inappropriate movements are strictly prohibited.

Music:

  • Music should preferably include regional, folk, or classical songs of the chosen state(s).
  • Tracks must be submitted in MP3 format, clearly labeled with the team name and represented state(s), at least one day prior to the event.

Costumes & Makeup:

  • Costumes should reflect the traditional attire of the chosen state(s).

  • Total time allotted is 30 minutes.

Rules:

  • The competition will be conducted in two rounds: Preliminary Round and Final Round.
  • Registration may be done at an individual level or group level.
  • The registration fee is ₹200 per participant.
  • Full-face painting time is strictly limited to 30 minutes.
  • No part of the design may be applied to the model’s face before the time clock starts.
  • The design must not extend beyond the natural hairline of the model.
  • If the model is bald, the design must stop where the natural hairline would normally be.
  • The design must not extend onto the neck, chest, shoulders, or back of the model.
  • The model’s hair may be clipped or pinned back to fully expose the design area.
  • Judging will be based on creativity, skill, theme relevance, and overall appearance.
  • Prizes will be awarded to the top three participants.

Do’s of Face Painting:

  • Use only professional makeup and cosmetic paint products made specifically for skin.
  • Metallic, neon, and interference paints may be used and can be applied wet or dry.
  • Use skin-safe adhesives and adhesive removers only.
  • Tools such as paint brushes, makeup brushes, sponges, sponge-tipped applicators, and stylus tools are allowed.
  • The end of a paint brush may be used to create dot effects.
  • Glitter in loose, gel, or liquid form is allowed, provided it is polyester glitter only.
  • Gemstones may be used if they have adhesive backing or are applied using skin-safe adhesive.
  • Loose and pressed powders, including shimmer powders, are permitted.

Don’ts of Face Painting:

  • Acrylic paints or any commercial paints such as tempera, craft, textile, or airbrush paints are strictly prohibited.
  • Use of airbrush systems is not allowed.
  • Stencils or stamps of any kind are not permitted.
  • Masks covering any part of the face are not allowed.
  • Prosthetic pieces such as fake cuts, scars, warts, or noses are prohibited.
  • False eyelashes, special effects contact lenses, novelty eyeglasses, or sunglasses are not allowed.
  • Regular prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses are permitted for models and artists.

Sports Events

Team Rules:

  • Each team must consist of 11 playing members with a maximum of 4 substitutes.
  • Only registered players are allowed to participate.
  • Team changes after registration are not permitted.

Match Rules:

  • Matches will follow standard cricket rules with modifications by the organizing committee.
  • Each innings will be limited to 10 overs.
  • A bowler cannot bowl more than 2 overs.
  • No-ball and wide rules will be as per tournament guidelines.
  • Reporting & Time Rules:
  • Teams must report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled match time.
  • A delay of more than 15 minutes may result in disqualification or loss of toss/overs.

Player Conduct & Safety:

  • Discipline and sportsmanship must be maintained at all times.
  • Abusive language, fighting, or misconduct will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Players must use appropriate safety gear.
  • Any injury will be the responsibility of the player/team; first-aid will be available.

Scoring & Result:

  • In case of a tie, the match will be decided by a Super Over.
  • Umpire and scorer decisions will be final.

Authority:

  • The organizing committee reserves the right to modify rules or schedules.
  • All participants agree to abide by the above rules.

  • Maximum of 5 substitutions allowed; substituted players cannot re-enter.

Match Format:

Player Kit & Discipline:

  • Proper sports kit including jersey, shorts, shin guards, and football shoes is mandatory.
  • Yellow and Red Card rules will apply as per standard football laws.
  • Referee’s decision is final and binding.

Reporting & Conduct:

  • Teams must report at least 30 minutes before match time.
  • A delay of more than 15 minutes may result in a walkover.
  • Indiscipline or violence may lead to disqualification.

Safety & Authority:

  • Medical assistance will be available.
  • The organizing committee may modify rules if required.

Match Rules:

  • Each team will consist of 6 players on the court.
  • Matches will be played as best of three sets.
  • Each set will be played up to 25 points with a minimum lead of 2 points.
  • Players must rotate positions after winning the serve.

Discipline & Decisions:

  • Misconduct or indiscipline may result in penalties or disqualification.
  • Referees’ and officials’ decisions are final.

Gate Rules & Safety:

  • Entry permitted only with valid SMS ID cards or event passes.
  • Participants must report 30 minutes before match time.
  • Outside food, sharp objects, or prohibited items are not allowed.
  • Medical support and security will be provided.

Match Rules:

  • Each team will consist of 5 players on the court.
  • The game will be played in 4 quarters of 10 minutes each.

Discipline & Decisions:

  • Any form of misconduct may lead to penalties or disqualification.
  • Referees’ decisions are final.

Gate Rules & Safety:

  • Valid SMS ID cards or event passes are mandatory.
  • Participants must report 30 minutes before match time.

  • Participants can register either at an individual level or as a group consisting of two members.
  • The registration fee is ₹150 per participant.
  • A maximum of 10 performances will be allowed.
  • Judges for the event will be external.
  • Do’s (For Participants):
  • Participants must strictly adhere to the time limit of 5 minutes.
  • Participants must maintain sportsmanship and show respect towards opponents.
  • All performances must follow the given theme guidelines.
  • Participants must be prepared with all necessary props or materials required for their performance.

Don’ts:

  • Offensive or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.
  • Exceeding the time limit may result in point deduction.
  • Participants must not interrupt or distract opponents during their performance.
  • Arguments or disputes regarding judges’ decisions will not be entertained.
  • Use of copyrighted material without proper permission is not allowed.
  • Any form of unsportsmanlike conduct is prohibited.
  • Bringing prohibited items or materials is not allowed.

Registration:

  • Registration fee is ₹100 per participant.
  • Fees are non-refundable.
  • Participants must carry valid identification.

Tournament Format:

  • Knockout basis tournament.
  • Each match will consist of 3 games.
  • The player winning 2 out of 3 games advances.

Game Rules:

  • Standard chess rules will be followed.
  • Use of mobile phones or external assistance is strictly prohibited.
  • Silence and discipline must be maintained.

Time & Tie-breaker:

  • Rapid time control will be used.
  • Tie-breakers will be conducted if required.
  • Authority:
  • The arbiter’s decision will be final.

Game Setup:

  • Toss decides the right to strike first.
  • The first striker plays White; the opponent plays Black.

Striking Rules:

  • The striker must touch both baselines.
  • Flicking must be done using one finger only.

Queen Rules:

  • The Queen must be covered by pocketing another coin immediately.
  • Failure to cover will result in the Queen being returned to the center.

Fouls & Scoring:

  • Pocketing the striker or touching coins by hand is a foul.
  • Standard scoring up to 25 points or 8 boards will apply.

  • Participants must wear proper sportswear and running shoes.
  • Bib numbers must be worn visibly on the chest.
  • Sportsmanship and discipline are mandatory.

Race Rules:

  • The race will be conducted on a standard 200-meter track.
  • Proper lane discipline must be maintained, especially on the curve.
  • Lane infringement or obstruction of other runners may result in disqualification.
  • False starts may lead to immediate disqualification.
  • The athlete whose torso crosses the finish line first will be declared the winner.

Officials & Safety:

  • Judges’ and officials’ decisions will be final.
  • All safety instructions given by officials must be followed at all times.

Equipment & Area:

  • Standard javelins will be used as per category.
  • The javelin must land tip-first within the sector.

Throwing Rules:

  • The throw must be made over the shoulder or upper arm.
  • Spinning or slinging techniques are prohibited.

Fouls & Safety:

  • Stepping over the arc or throwing outside the sector is a foul.
  • Athletes must throw only on officials’ instruction.
  • Safety protocols must be followed.

Scoring:

  • Best valid throw will be counted.
  • Judges’ decisions will be final.

Participation Rules:

  • Proper athletic gear is mandatory.
  • Athletes must report 20 minutes before the event.

Execution Rules:

  • The shot must be pushed from the shoulder with one hand.
  • The shot must not drop below the chin during the throw.

Fouls & Measurement:

  • Leaving the circle early or touching the rim is a foul.
  • Measurement will be taken from the nearest mark to the circle.

Safety & Authority:

  • Warm-up throws only under official supervision.
  • Judges’ decisions will be final.
